The Milot-Fier is a segment of 114 kilometers, part of the Blue Corridor and it will be divided into 3 lots Milot-Thuman\u00eb, Kashar-Lekaj and Lekaj-Fier. For all 3 segments, the competitions were opened on August 2 and separate companies can compete for each of the lots, while the estimated value of the investment is 837 million euros.
The other segment part of this highway is Thuman\u00eb-Kashar, which is under construction. The project is expected to have a positive economic impact of 400 million euros and will increase employment.
Crossing the highway will be tolled, but there will also be secondary roads. Milot-Fier will be the first highway in Albania that will have a maximum speed of up to 130 km\/h and will be certified by the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Adriatic-Ionian highway starts in Trieste, passes through Croatia, includes Montenegro, Albania and continues to Greece, and its length for this part is 1,550 kilometers.
